Santas elves have been busy giving his sleigh an overhaul!! After many years out on tour in the cold and damp winter weather, Santa’s old sleigh had begun to show its age.
We have stripped back his sleigh to its bare bones and following a much needed coat of paint the base for his new sleigh has begun to come together. We also have a sneak peak of his new sleigh!!
Despite it being the middle of summer, planning for Santa on Tour 2025 is also well underway, and we hope to be able to announce the dates and routes soon!!
We will be at the March Armed Forces Fair on Sunday with information about the club and what we do, and a Tin Can Alley for you to have a go at!!
We will be with the community stalls near to the Marylebone Bridge!!
It’s looking to be another amazing events, and we are glad to be part of it again this year.
Only a month to go until our Autumn Fair!!
We have a wide variety of stalls already booked to come and support us at this event, but we still have some spaces left. If you are interesting in having a stall at this or any of our events, please visit march-lions.org.uk/gala or send us a message!!
We will be at EstaFest tomorrow with Bernard’s Bazaar! Come down and peruse our selection of interesting items for sale, and stay for the music and entertainment!!
We were pleased to again work with the four primary schools in the town to run the Peace Poster Competition. Club members had the difficult task of choosing a top three for each school, with the winner going forward to the district competition. Our thanks go to the schools that have been supporting us in running this competition for over fifteen years.
For over three decades, Lions clubs around the globe have been sponsoring a very special art contest in schools and youth groups. More than four million young people from 100 countries worldwide have taken part in the contest.
Creating peace posters gives young people everywhere the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity. The young artists are free to use a variety of art mediums. They are encouraged to portray their life-experiences and culture in responding to the theme.
We are pleased to announce that, in partnership with Fenspirits Distillery, we will be running a Tasting Night on Friday 24th October at the March Con Club.
Tickets are £25 per person, and include a sample of 3 different Vodkas, Gins and Rums with mixers, discovering the unique flavours whilst learn about the production process. You will also discover Rum’s Rich Heritage and Craftsmanship, uncovering the fascinating history behind this beloved spirit. Plus, there will be 3 Miscellaneous Spirits to surprise your palate!
Enjoy the delicious buffet while mingling with fellow spirit enthusiasts.
Fen Spirits is a small local distillery who ferment and distil all their our products from scratch, using only real natural ingredients.
